Dr. Laurence ( Larry ) Boxer passed away

The Loss of a True Friend and Hero.

It is with great sadness that We have to convey this News. Our dear friend, highly respected mentor, and our International medical advisor,  Dr. Laurence ( Larry ) Boxer passed away from myeloma yesterday afternoon, Saturday, January 7th, (2017). A sincerely generous and giving man whom will all ALWAYS remember in our hearts with respect and great appreciation. The World has lost a truly amazing man!

Just last month "ASH" awarded him with a very special mentor-ship award in recognition of his incredible accomplishments and valuable contribution.

Larry's funeral service will be Wednesday, January 11th (2017), at 10:30 am at Temple Beth Emeth, 2309 Packard Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48104.  His burial service will follow at Arborcrest Memorial Park, 2521 Glazier Way, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. 

The funeral service will be live streamed and archived by the Ira Kaufman Chapel and available on their web site www.irakaufman.com

Later that afternoon they will be gathering together for Shiva which is a time to share stories and pictures, talk, and gather as a community of family and friends to celebrate a life well lived.  Calling hours will be from 4 pm to 9 pm at our home  at 3869 Waldenwood Drive, Ann Arbor Michigan, 48105 with the Shiva service itself at 7 pm on Wednesday, January 11th. 

Larry took great pleasure in his life as a physician and educator and wanted to continue the tradition of contributing to knowledge.  Those who wish to further honor his memory may contribute to the University of Michigan Laurence A.
